i love the rain so much.
i love it when it falls gracefully onto my head and drops like clear crystals when it reaches the tips of my hair.
i love the way they land on my nose, my cheeks and my eye lashes.
i love the smell of the rain.
i love everything that the rain brings.
but the reason i run for cover when it comes.
is because i have this memory in my head.
me and my “sister” are trying to ditch art class for as long as possible, by telling the teacher we left things in our locker.
as we were walking around it started to drizzle.
but we didnt run for cover.
we just stood there and smiled.
we looked at the sky.
we looked at each other.
then before we knew it, we were dancing in the rain.
our hair got soaked.
our clothes got wet.
we were giggling and laughing but nothing would stop us.
that memory is so strong, that i dont want to re-live it with anyone else.
that is why i run for cover when it rains.
because i am waiting for my “sister” to come dance with me again.
im waiting for her to make me smile and laugh like there is nothing wrong in the world.
im waiting to see her again and share more precious memories.
